Trellis helps refugees living in Birmingham to find work. We provide refugee job-seekers with advice, guidance, and support in their jobsearch. We work in partnership with Birmingham City Council, Jobcentre Plus, the Learning and Skills Council, and a range of voluntary organisations and local employers to make job-seeking services more user-friendly to refugees and to promote the employment of refugees in Birmingham If you are a refugee and The project aims to:

  • Make services more user-friendly for refugee job-seekers
  • Introduce systematic and efficient routing for refugees into employment
  • Strengthen refugee and migrant community participation in design and delivery of services
  • Raise employer awareness of the skills and experience of refugees

Highlight and promote best practice in terms of recruitment and employment.
